We built a new home and McDonald Cabinet Company provided the cabinetry for 2 kitchens, a laundry room and 7 bathrooms. They also did some custom cabinetry in an entry way, fireplace surround and a linen closet. We loved the quality of work and thought it matched the style and quality of our home. Alan- the owner was a great communicator and understood the look our interior designer and I were looking for. So many of the the other people working on our home commented that our kitchen had the most beautiful cabinets they had ever seen. Our general contractor said that he hadn’t seen this type of quality for years. He said this is what custom should look like.
In addition to the quality the cabinets were on time and they were very reasonably priced. We do not have cookie cutter cabinets out of a lower quality wood which we had a larger company bid.. McDonald Cabinet Company gave us cherrywood cabinets with an absolutely breathtaking finish for the same price as the cheaper quality wood bid from the larger company. I have had dozens of compliments on our home and people have asked me countless times who did these cabinets. McDonald Cabinet Company is wonderful, fantastic, amazing… Alan (the owner) is the best contractor we have used for our housing projects. They have been involved with 4 previous projects and we have another in the making that they will certainly be used for. Alan just doesn’t treat you like another project on the list. He makes you feel like you are the only project he is working on at the moment. He is always available, has great ideas, work is impeccable & simply put he becomes more of your friend who cares rather than a customer on his list of projects to complete. I am so in love with my cabinets! McDonald Cabinets, they used real cherry wood. So you can see the beautiful grains of this wood. The finish on this wood is so smooth and well done. Because of the finish, they wipe down with no staining. The cabinets are wider, which makes plates and cooking utensils fit properly in their place. So much more room, than I had before. I now have double the storage room. My kitchen is small, so this is so fun. The finishing on their cabinets is so beautiful! No more above the cabinets to clean. All finished to the ceiling. I had searched other business, and found McDonalds was more specialized in what I wanted. Every other company wanted to just replace and do the same kitchen. I love how this kitchen is me! And works for me! I love to cooking and canning. So my new kitchen is perfect to work in now. There isn’t a day, I don’t say “I love my kitchen.”
